GERALDENE Naidoo, a science teacher at St Martin’s Preparatory School, entered and won a competition and was selected to attend the 2017 Honeywell Educators at Space Academy, which will be held at the US Space and Rocket Centre (USSRC) in Huntsville, Alabama, USA.

During her visit in June, she will be attending lectures at the University of Alabama as well as participating in engineering and design challenges, which include rocket construction and launch, payload operations and many others. She will meet and interact with teachers from all over the world, who will be attending this programme. Geraldene will also attend a graduation ceremony after the completion of the course.
