Moffat View police successes

MOFFAT VIEW SAPS PROJECTS: ON June 2, Moffat View Social Crime Prevention, Communications and Youth Desk members gave a talk about drugs at WH Coetzee Primary School. Grade Six and Seven learners were told that using drugs is dangerous and could destroy their future. They were also taught to say no when called by strangers.

OVER the week of May 29 to June 5, Moffat View SAPS arrested 42 suspects for various crimes: assault common – five, assault common under domestic violence – four, assault GBH – four, business robbery – one, dealing in liquor without a license – one, driving under the influence of alcohol -nine, malicious damage to property – one, murder – one, possession of drugs – seven, possession of stolen goods – one; possession of house-break-in implements one; possession of stolen motor vehicle – two, rape – two, shoplifting – one, theft out of motor vehicle – two.
