Make your life count

“When a flower doesn’t bloom you fix the environment in which it grows, not the flower.” – Alexander Den Heijer

Wow, this indeed is a powerful quote. How often do we try to fix the flower? How often do we expect the flower to grow, change and thrive to meet our standards? How often do we neglect to ‘fix the environment’?

You are the flower. For you to grow and thrive in becoming what you want to be, the environment must be conducive for you. The environment I am referring to here consists of people you spend most of your time with, your mindset and your life’s purpose.

Your purpose is your master plan. To achieve your master plan you need to break it down into smaller manageable goals. Goals help you measure your progress towards your destination (purpose), one step at a time. If you are not yet the kind of person you want to be, don’t give up, it’s not all lost, I’m here to help you.

What are the important steps to change your environment? Firstly, strive to know who you are and your WHY for living. Secondly, identify and spend most of your time with people who are what you want to be and who will help you become that person. Thirdly, choose books and audio material that will help you develop the correct mindset for you to develop and become the person you have to be in order to achieve whatever you want; it all starts in the mind. Lastly, get a coach/mentor who will help you implement all of the above and hold you accountable to your commitment. These four steps will help you fix the environment and the flower will surely blossom. So, my friend, you deserve the best that life has to offer, just fix your environment and your results will blossom. You are God’s special creation, make your life count!
