A business class for Townsview

EXTRA EXTRA: Learners gear up for this year's career day.

“PACKET chips, packet chips,” were some of the words heard among the buzzing of this year’s Townsview Primary’s Entrepreneurship Day on 22 September 22.

This year’s Grade Seven classes brought business to the little learners of Townsview Primary School in selling almost everything from sweets to food to a few recycled items.

CONVINCE: A learner selling his products.

This was part of their curriculum and EMS teacher Francinah Morare said this year’s business savvy youngsters meant business.

She said the Grade Sevens would be judged on their advert for their stall, the best entrepreneurs and the overall stall display of the businesses.

Morare said she motivated the young aspiring business learners to even recycle and sell items instead of simply buying them from the store.

A market like no other as each learner selling had one thing on their mind and that was to outsell their peers.

BUSINESS: Market day at Townsview.
