All Styles medals for karatekas

MEDALS GALORE: Cobras Shotokan Karate club members who received medals are: Front: Maddox Marques, Bokang Sigasa and Alex Holm. Middle: Sensei Nicholas Gaston-Bellegarde, Darshal Chinia, Juan Crous, Michiel Jacobs and Sensei Laurent Gaston-Bellegarde. Back: Reatlegile Moleleki, Ivan Dodo, Declan Strydom and Samukelisiwe Madonsela. Absent: Brandon Rossouw and Bokamoso Makhene.

STUDENTS from the Cobras Shotokan Karate club in Brackenhurst took part in the All Styles inter-club tournament sponsored by Walk-A-Mile, on September 16, which was held in Pretoria.

Twelve students from the club took part and did exceptionally well to return home with a total of 24 medals.

Members who received medals are: Maddox Marques (two gold), Bokang Sigasa (one gold medal), Alex Holm (one gold and one silver), Darshal Chinia (one gold and one silver), Juan Crous (three gold), Michiel Jacobs (two gold), Reatlegile Moleleki (one gold and one silver), Ivan Dodo (two gold), Declan Strydom (one silver), Samukelisiwe Madonsela (two gold), Brandon Rossouw (one gold and one silver), Bokamoso Makhene (one gold and two silver).
