Mondeor High matriculants set the bar high

MONDEOR High school buzzed with excitement and anxiety as learners, parents and educators filled the school hall on January 5 when grade 12s, the class of 2017, received their results.

As usual, the results were nothing below average and Mondeor High continues to excel academically. With a 95 per cent pass rate, the school obtained 159 bachelor passes and around 200 distinctions. Over half of the matriculants received bachelor passes which is a great achievement for the school.

EXCITED: Learners receiving their results at Mondeor High.

“I am very proud of our learners who have achieved these excellent results. The school is a government school and these learners all face many challenges at school and even at their homes but these results show us they that are able to overcome everything and excel. I am thankful to God for their good results,” said the principal of Mondeor High, Mrs V Nicolaou.
