Abbott’s College star

MARJUKA Binth Solaiman, a matriculant from Abbotts College Johannesburg South, achieved seven distinctions. They are English (80 per cent), maths (84 per cent), life orientation (88 per cent), accounting (90 per cent), geography (83 per cent), physical science (89 per cent) and life science (91 per cent).

The principal of the school, Willem van Zyl, said: “To the class of 2017, well done on reaching the end of your school career. “You will have to make choices in life and always remember start where you are, use what you have and do what you can. “Make your life a masterpiece, imagine no limitations on what you can be, have or do.”

Chatting to Marjuka, she said: “I worked exceptionally hard and I’m thrilled with my results. I’m hoping to be accepted at Wits University to study medicine and I’m anxiously waiting to hear.”

Reesha Rama achieved three distinctions and Alexander Jeta two distinctions.
